Community Fellowship Goes Global

You and your congregation have an unprecedented opportunity to become involved in missions on a truly global scale as you partner with Community Fellowship Missions.

Thousands of people around the world are coming to a saving faith in Jesus Christ as short-term volunteer mission teams are going and giving .Yet the stark reality remains: 1.7 billion people still have little or no access to the gospel message. People from all over the world are coming to the Riviera Maya of Mexico. We need your help as we attempt to make a global impact. You can come to the Riviera Maya and join us on mission as we reach out in love to three very different people groups. The local Mayan speakers, the Mexican Spanish speakers, and the Internationals living and working in the area.

We also are mobilizing and training local believers to go on mission to other parts of the world. We are sending one of our own, Julieta Baca, to Africa in Oct. on a short-term mission trip. You can learn how your church can join us as we Go Global, read more about our 3-way mission partnerships at www.church-in-playa.com

What you can do today.

Update on the Millars:

All I can say is God is faithful! We have been humbled to tears at how God is making it possible for us to make the transition from the IMB and still follow our calling. I am thanking God as many of our prayers for the fall have already been answered. Last month, we had no idea how God would meet our needs but we knew that we were called to stay and serve Him in this part of the world. I wish I had words that could express how truly awesome our Lord is! Thank you for your prayers and your support.

We are Praising God! Brandon and Brittany’s school is paid for the fall, no small miracle. We have been given a place to live in Paamul at no cost. Last Dec. I sold our Mustang and donated the money to help build our new worship center in Paamul. Now the same Mustang has been given back to us. That is just like our God you can never out give Him. GOD IS FAITHFUL!

Prayer needs:

Wisdom as we launch the new worship service in Spanish in Paamul. August 6th is our next pre-launch service in Spanish – pray for Dr. Daniel as he is going to be preaching at this service.

Pray for our Worship Leader – Mike Salazar – as he leads us in worship and makes plans to work with our mission teams.

Pray for the Millars in this time of transition.
Pray for the Lost and our church planting team as we make a plan to reach out to the peoples of the Riviera Maya.

If you are praying please let us know. You will never know how much your support and encouragement means to us. doug@church-in-playa.com
